Its a black 318is that i've had my eye on for about a year, that has been sitting on the drive not really going anywhere and i always wanted to go ask about it but never got round to it before i left.

I live in Dubai now but im coming back in the new year so i got a friend who lived near to the car to go ask about it and he did :D

And it turns out he wants to sell it

He has owned the car for 10 years 8O and has spent quite a bit of money on it over that time, but he has racked up the milage i think its near 200k 8O , thou i think its had a new lump at some point.
And he has kept it in really good nick and really loved it ,the recaros arnt even worn 8)

And he just had a new mot put on it aswell

So anyway with a new mot i was thinking he was going to want atleast about a grand mabey :? , but he only wants 500quid for it?

My mate is going to go back and have a proper look for me and he knows his stuff (classic car restorer, i use to work with him and he's a BMW nut)

So what do u think? The milage does not really bother me as i want to do a 335 conversion anyway at some point soon :D

Should i go for it? As long as its not a rusty peice of cr*p :P

If your going to do a conversion then mileage not such a problem. But remember the whole car has covered those miles, not just engine! If a car has been well looked after/gently driven it makes a huge difference. Mine has 112000 but is like new in many respects! I would go for it if all seems sound. :thumb:

as above. My 318is has done 170k but only gets used on track and is still going. If the bodywork is in good nick I would go for it

Go for it!
