Where's the best place to purchase Piston Rings and Main/Big end bearings from?
What manufacture is recommended?
Crank will be grinded and I am told that I would need 0.25 size bearings?
I guess the Rings will be standard size?
Thanks

C3 are fine. I've bought bits from there in the past, some have been genuine bmw, other bits oe manufacturers like febi, or decent aftermarket.

In terms of price, should I bother researching else where?

Any machine shop should be able to supply. It's the norm for the guys grinding the crank to supply shells as well
To give an idea bmw rings are £30 per set and the shells are about £10 each but the thrust washers are more like £25 so that's the most expensive route
