After two years running my car on 17" Alpina replica wheels I have finally found someone willing to swap a set of 15" BBS wheels. Put an ad on gumtree and here is the deal we did

Straight swap

My 4x badly kerbed alpina reps with 2 barely used Toyo tyres and 3 Champiro tyres with lots of tread

His 4 very very flakey BBS with x4 good caps + 1x very good spare with original unused tyre. All tyres are crap but he gave me another two decent Dunlops that are 195/50 but useable.

I'm not so sure whether I have got a decent deal here or not but the BK's just were not selling at all plus my location doesn't help me.

Regardless of value the car now drives a lot better, much less crashy over bumps and feels much less "nervous".

Are they 15"? (Look like it) Would be good to get done a little darker like the motorsport ones when you get them referbed :)

Correct tyre size is 205/55/15"

Although a lot run 205/50/15" :D

Good deal I say. Bk reps are worthless as they drive rubbish compared to the bbs... esp on a cab. The look of them is and always will be personal taste. If you get your bbs refurbed with decent tyres then they will look ace.

You've also just saved about 8k in chiropractor bills and increased your lifespan by approx 3 years :)

They are 15" yes. I think I'm going to sell the 195/50 Dunlop's and buy the right sizes. As for colour was actually thinking of having them powder coated in the same chrome effect that my M-paras are.

It wasn't a fair deal - for the BBS owner!

Looks infinitely better.
