Hi all,

I have a 370mm Tech-1 wheel and a few weeks ago, after pressing the bottom horn button, it chose to stay sounding!

I had to pull out the fuse in order to preserve my sanity, but now do not have a functioning horn!

I believe the metal contacts beneath the button must be in constant contact, and I want to somehow fix this with it being a fairly rare steering wheel.

Does anyone know how to safely remove these buttons? Or can anyone perhaps offer any other advice?

Thanks in advance!

You need to lever the button out carefully. inside you will find a thin metal plate which acts as both the spring for the button and the contact for the horn.

Bend it back into shape and put it all back together.

I'm terrified that I'll break it! Any particular approach that is safest? Thinking of using a flathead screwdriver and a thin cloth...
