So I decided I needed the extra space for while I am running around and have gone out and bought a touring.

Now I need some ideas of what would be the best conversion for the turd.

Just throw the ideas out there and suggestions of gearbox and Engine management system to use with whatever engine you are suggesting

No. Decided not too as I was originally going to put a s14 in there but changed that plan to make it more a work horse. Needed ideas. I do however have a option if an E39 M5 engine but think that will be too naughty for everyday

It's not impossible to install a diesel lump, but any savings you make on fuel will have been wiped out by the cost of the conversion.

What do you want from the car? More power, a smoother drive, or better economy?

Thanks for the offer I will keep it in mind as soon as I have decided if I am going for older or newer conversion.
