m21 pistons

the m21 pistons are the same size as the m20b23 80mm bore just wanted to see if any one had use them in the 2.3 before. I know they have a 22-1 compresson vs the 2.3 9.8-1. just a idea to see how much messing around would be to make them work

You would need to drop the compression a fair amount i would have thought or would get pre ignition the mixture igniting before the spark happened

The gudgeon pins are a different size to the petrol engines, but the big ends are the same.
I have a set of piston/rods if anybody is interested in investigating :)
