Hi. I'm trying to figure something out on my cabby... At the business end of the horseshoe is there suppose to be plastic caps either side to cover some holes in it? I think like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-BMW-E ... 0949867678
I dont seem to have these but instead from memory 3 or so holes in it which looks pretty messy.

Can these caps be easily removed?

Cheers

very easily. Get the horsehoe opened and you can see how they attach. They essentially peel off.

Goodman!

To be fair always check with bmw for a price on any parts you are after, some things are suprisingly cheap!.....apart from piston rings... :D
