Z3 Handbrake Shoes

Just been reading through the wiki pages, about brake overhauls and noticed on the list for handbrake shoes, Z3 pads are in there.

Is this a worthy upgrade, or should I just stick with the standard ones. I take it these fit to an E30 rear disc/drum?

Apologies if this has been asked 100 times over, did a quick search but nothing came up.

It's being asked in another current thread!
I did this out of necessity, not as an 'upgrade' and was rewarded with the best E30 handbrake I've ever seen.
Only when a sufficient number of others have done this, can we decide whether it's an 'upgrade' or not.

I was the one who asked. I am working on trying to source the parts (in a few hours) from a z3M and see if it works. there has been mixed reviews so far, so it needs to be attempted a few more times before we can establish it is worthy upgrade.
