Hi

Got a tourer with Tax mot good engine gears and a sport on sorn no mot.

So planning on driving tourer works out cheaper and gives sport a good 18 Month dry rest.
We knackered diff on tourer
Can you take the diff off a sport 3.91 and put it on a 325i tourer ?

Can you repair a diff after it explodes, and if not can the case be sold or is it of no use to anyone?

Will appreciate any advice given

Thanks

The sport 3:91 will go straight in.

An exploded diff is a worthless item.

Rear cover may be of use to someone, if it's a medium case (188) diff.
