hi can anyone tell me how to get the backs off the drivers and passanger seats please , i have only recently brought my h reg cabriolet and the basks are loose and dont fit properly so want to put them right but havnt a clue how the fit are they srewes on or clips or what fitting any help and advice would be great cheers

Remove the plastic cover from the side lever that tilts the seat forward. Pops off with a screw driver.


Remove plastic covers (that cover the mechanism) from the side.


Disconnect the cables in side the mechanism.


Remove back cover. Screws at the bottom if you tilt seat forward you will see them.


When cover is off, there will be two screws at the bottom of the seat back. Remove these and you should be able to separate the seat.

Partly up the sides rather than right at the bottom, and may well be loose already, or even missing. If they are, this is likely to be the root cause of your problem, and you may find that the seat frame is twisted or broken near the hinge as a result.
