Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

Hi,

I'm soon going to be wiring in a race dash to replace the OEM one and a schematic of the wiring that goes into the dash would be very useful. Ideally I will leave the loom largely whole and pickup from the plugs that go into the back of the dash.

A spec for the whole lot would be good but the specifics for, rpm, speed, fuel, temp, indicators/hazzards & ABS are I guess the minimum.

Cheers

Richard

Thanks guys, both very useful.

Am I right in thinking the ABS circuit needs to be shorted (or via a bulb) if I remove the dash and want to start the car ? Is there any other gotcha's like this ?

ABS bulb has nothing to do with anything relevant. You're probably thinking of the battery light, which will affect the battery charging if the cluster is unplugged. No problems starting the engine without it though.
