E34 dipstick length

I want to check I have used the right dipstick with my m52 conversion. Could some kind soul measure there dipstick from tip to handle (oh er missus!) for me?

Just messured mine and its got 57cm spot on ,from top to bottom( metal tube)

just check realoem the part number will be on the dipstick level

Thanks guys, it is the dipstick not the tube it sits in. I'll have a look next time I am down the unit for a part number.

I have an e46 m52b28 I can measure tomorrow if that s the same engine Henry?

the part number is on the dipstick @180 of the min to max side easy to spot
