Please can anyone help with my big problem.
2 years ago I put my car in dry storage until recently, now the locks worked perfect when I put it in but not now. I didn't try them at first until after I changed the dash now they are dead. I've checked the door plug, I've connected the red/ black wires x3 ( cabby) I've resolderred the thermal fuse but still not activating. Now with the roof down I can here the relays click when I do each lock with a key, however I can lock/ unlock the boot with a key but I can't lock the doors only unlock the drivers after I've forced the lock pin down but to be fare any e30 I've owned I've always used the boot to lock. Any ideas would be much appreciated as the car is up for sale thanks.

If it had sprung, there's a serious fault.
How dry was the dry storage? This is usually a result of heavy rain/car washes combined with blocked sill drains.

Time to take the locking ECU out, open it up, and look for signs of water damage.

Did that couple of the tracers were fluffy,so I cleaned them but the little relays are both clicking when I try any lock. I could sell with a locking fault but the problem is I can't lock the doors with the key only unlock the drivers side after forcing the pin down so the car cant be secured. Soooo maybe I'm thinking go inside the doors and see if it's the dead locks preventing it or something I can't even lock the passenger door at all , just can't force the pin down
