right here goes, im just wondering what you all think before i spend unnecessary dollar.

my setup is as follows, gaz gold coil overs, e36 m3 evo control arms, eccentric control arm bushes, e36 328i front hubs and a e46 club sport rack in the manual mounting holes.

problem is i cant get full lock with out it rubbing on the inner arch (metal part)
would it be the case of wheel spacers or is it abit more in depth than that?

Simplest solution is to fit lock stops to the steering rack. A jubilee clip on each end of the rack, against the inner edge of the track rod ball joints will do the job.

Under the rubber boots, on the end of the rack itself. It's common in the kit car world, and essentially what BMW did with the Z3.
It'll keep the MOT tester happy.

sounds like a good idea to me specially on the MOT side of things,
so are the jubilee clips directly after the ball joint fixes to the rack end?

Tight against the inner face of the ball joints, so that the rack can't slide fully into the housing.
