After abit of time clearing out the garage ive come across some custom parts i made one of which is two pairs ( enough to do one car) of adaptor plates i had laser cut and folded to allow you to attach recaro seats to e30 sport seat runners so you dont have to drill or weld the floor, they also sit lower and further back than recaros own brackets.
They were made to fit evo 8 (IIRC) recaro SR seats like the ones X-works fitted and he helped me with the design abit.
