Well, it all depends on whether you have a mind of your own
and therefore possess the ability to choose the colour you like.
Or if you are just a
and need others from the flock to make
your decision for you.
Your call.

Diamondschwarz, by dint of not being any shade of red which are vile, trashy, tasteless colours. I want to drive a car, not a used tampon.

All the way to that armpit - whats so spesh about it?
Colours - Lazer Blue, Dolphin Grey or Henna Red.
Silvers only look good in Cabrios.
Diamond Metallic Black is the DULLEST colour on earth.
All the other 'special' colours are just gay. Burgundies, Greens etc.

Good point on the white. But I would never go white.
I think colours heavily depend on the body type.
Silver is by far the best for Cabrios but makes coupes and 4 doors look seriously dated.
But not bad on a Touring.
British Racing Green is awesome on aTouring - lame on any other body.
