both My headlamps have decided to not work and instead when I pull the knob all my indicatiors come on steady.
I admit that I had taken the lamp out to change the left to right direction and it all worked when i put it back, but after a short drive this now happens.
I suspect the bulb holder is a little tempramental, would this go along with the symtoms?

Check out the main earthing point at the front of the LH inner wing. Take it apart, clean, and bolt back together.

Absolutely spot on Brian, the nut was loose. Why it decided to show up on the MOT retest was just bad bloody luck. Anyway, passed now. Many thanks as always.
