I'm quite surprised to be honest! There isn't much flow separation or significant disturbance around the front end as I thought there would be for a car this box shaped!
Only bits I could see being a problem were the wing mirrors protruding and causing disturbance!
Don't be fooled by the square looking shape, it turns out that the E30 is actually a pretty well designed and aerodynamic car for it's time, apart from the wing mirrors!
