Does anyone know how to remove the slider vents from the housing in the dashboard?

They just clip out mate, I'm not sure if there's a specific way but I removed some from and old dash to be binned , thin flat screwdriver prized them out they just pop out , but wait for confirmation if there is a proper way to do it incase you damage the dash

Thanks Polsta, and just to be quite clear, I don't want to remove the entire housing/assembly, just the two vents/grilles. There is some resistance when trying to pry out with a screwdriver. I know in my Merc 190e, a pair of pliers wrapped in towel to avoid leaving marks and a tug towards you does the trick. Anyone else attempted this?

I see ,it's not hard to pop the whole unit out, its just 2 little plastic clips at each end i think, just carefully try to pop it out being careful not to mark the dash, might be better than pulling the vents out incase you snap them
