Can anyone confirm that the air con unit that sits under the dash is not LHD specific.

I want to remove the unit to sell but just want to be sure that a UK RHD box will go back in.

Also what the best way to remove the unit. What about draining the gas?

ETK gives the same part numbers for LH drive cars as it does for RH drive versions, so yes.
So easy to check!
By law, the gas has to be recovered to a container, but most will have leaked by accident through a loose joint in the system (in a well ventilated area.)

Dan we are due a six month service on my machine next week.

We will be removing x3 DPF filters from the exhaust and going to normal silencers.

V8 Single turbo Diesel Power. :D

Might see if I can weigh in the filters :D
