Got my sister to take a couple of wheels to the tyre shop today as they were leaking around the edge of the alloy and hence going flat in a couple of days

So they take them off and tell her the tyres are shredded on the inside.

How would they get like this? I can see the state of tyre 2 on the outside is past its best and tyre one has had a plug repair at some point, but how would they fill with the tyre "shreds"?

It means it's been run too flat for the tyre it could do it on something stuped like 20psi you just have to be cearfull mate when they have a leak

Whats happening is the inner side wall is being churned up because they have been run at too low a pressure, they look very old too, I wouldnt want them on anything id be driving fast in
