Hello,

I have a 4 door 316i and was considering an interior change. I currently have Anthracite black interior in. I would like to have either original cream interior or the tartan interior.

I have come across this on ebay, and the seller has said that it has come out of a 2 door 318is, would this still fit in a 4 door or not?

Its the seats from an 318is, It'll fit but you'll have the tilt mechanisms from a 2 door, still on them.

You can remove the lever easily and swap the backs over with a non tilt set.
Is this a hard to do?

Thanks again

Not hard, but kinda pointless IMO. You don't lose anything by having the ability to fold the seats and if you ever sell them on they'll be worth more in their original condition.

Does a 2 door rear bench fit a 4 door car without any problems?

yes that will also fit, only difference is 4 door benches, the corners are slightly rounded to aim getting in and out the rear.

So the rear backrest section is the same, and fitment is the same. Only difference for the rears between 2 door and 4 doors is the rounding of the bench to assist with getting in and out?

yes, apart from i think on some very early cars the bracket for the rear upper bench was slightly different. apart from that fitment is the same.
