Dear all,

So, my problem stems from an incident last week when an ignorant [female] driver chose to pull out in front of me on a roundabout having only looked to her left. Mistake. I was understandably quite angry, so chose to horn, and my horn then chose to keep sounding, even once I had let go.

Embarrassed as I was, I then pulled over and pulled the fuse out to spare my ear drums from permanent damage.

I'm thinking I probably need to take the steering wheel off and have a look under the horn buttons to see if the connections are in constant contact?

Questions:

1. How do I take an M-tech 1 steering wheel off?
2. How should I tackle the horn problem?

Thanks very much people!

Prise off centre bezel and use socket on wheel nut. Inset ign. key and turn to position 1, carefully pull steering wheel off column spline. This should reveal contact pin (to underside of wheel). Also investigate poss. Stuck button on steering wheel?

Thanks!

Have a feeling it may be a stuck button - as when fiddling with the buttons the horn intermittently stops sounding. How best to fix these? Do I need to pop the buttons off?
