Cabby interior light

I received a new interior light today for my cab previously I used to arm the car and unarm and the light used to come on and off when doing so, It has stopped doing that now what could be the issue ? But when you flick the switch to the left it comes on constant in the middle nothing and to the right nothing ? Any ideas what's going on ?

The 3 sitch positions are permanent on, permanent off and the third will turn the light on when the door is opened.
Alarm-wise ... if set to come on with the door opening would be one of the alarm triggers. The indicators will normally flash with the arm/unarm action.
Are you sure it's been wired correctly ?
