Is there a reason there is a large metal weight in the boot (rear drivers side)
It used to have the battery relocated to the boot, is this the reason?
Should I leave it there or move it?
Thanks

If your convertible is missing the boot weight, a medium sized girlfriend in the same place will do the job just as well.

I removed mine as i thought the cabby already had enough weight and didn't notice any adverse effects

That's usually as a result of deficiencies in other areas of your car, such as suspension in need of a rebuild, or massively overweight wheels, etc. If it wasn't effective, BMW wouldn't have put it there.Ianb wrote:I removed mine as i thought the cabby already had enough weight and didn't notice any adverse effects
