hi there, whats the going price for my e30 cab engine and box for someone as a swap

m20b25 ecu complete with manifolds, ecu, manual box with no crunches?

im stripping it out of my e30 ready for my new engine swap, i think i need to keep the loom but im not really sure. il include it if i have to lol

its on 150 odd k but has loads of history and in the last 4 years has only done 5k with regular servicing. it doesnt use oil or water or smoke

any ideas?

Roughly 300, I would say. I paid 400 for the lot mileage on my engine was 85k. Engine, ecu, wiring loom, prop, diff, gearbox, shocks etc.

What engine is going back in?
Ideally any engine you're fitting should be complete with loom, then it's just a case altering the loom to match the E30s wiring at the plug near the bulkhead (c101 plug from memory).

You shouldn't need to chop any of your M20 engine loom. It just unplugs from the car side of the loom (c101 plug) and stays attached to the engine when you pull it out.

I'm not sure, I was planning on wiring the BMW plug into the Nissan loom and plugging it in etc....

No one's going to want half a prop. either. They are balanced as a whole, and can't be mixed and matched without a full rebalance.
The only thing you will need from your existing loom is the twenty pin C101 plug, complete with about 300mm of wire. Pity to devalue your engine for the sake of a plug that can be taken from any loom from an unloved M40.

Guess its worth more with the loom. Much more than 300 as a straight engine, box, loom and ecu swap?

I would say £375+ if it's a real peach, is dry and can be heard running. As an oily lump sat on the floor, they aren't worth as much.
