HI Guys
I am wondering if anyone with this setup can help me. I fitted this yesterday to my E30 . removed from the car was a set of Koni Sports and Eibach springs. Not the best in the world but they were decent.
I thought going with this new setup would yeild much better results.
However , the car has not dropped as much as it did with the Eibach's , but both are marked to 35mm.
Also if anyone has this setup can you confirm that you cannot push down on the front of the car. The rear is fine and you can bounce it like you would normally do , but the front is rock solid. If I push down on the fender I can hear it creak. but no movement.
Car also has poly bushes and H&R rollbars.
The car also wanders in a straight line.
Tracking has been checked and corrected.

Indeed si.. Reminds me of the glory days of b8's and eibach's!
It will out-handle most road going E30's with that set up, as long as you have renewed all other tired suspension components!
I have the same set up, it's great

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
Also bare in mind that with if the old stuff was years old/done high mileage/had a hard life it might have been sitting a bit lower than it was when the Koni Sports and Eibachs were new.

I'll back that up, last week my iS held its own in the wet against stripped out 318Ti Compact Cup cars at Mallory. Even with semi slicks though I couldn't hold a candle to them as it driedDuke137 wrote:It will out-handle most road going E30's with that set up, as long as you have renewed all other tired suspension components!

I have a very similar setup, except for Eibach springs and fresh rubber bushes all round (none of this poly bush nonsense). I reckon the Eibachs are a bit soft for that setup so I might look at swapping to the H&Rs at some point in the future?
What hole positions do you run your droplinks in out of interest? I run softest at the back and to get a decent balance the middle hole at the front.

in terms of difference between 35mm eibachs and h&R there isnt much. Not enough to warrant a change.
Theres a big difference to be had by fitting the cupkit springs 60/40 but they drop more like 60/60 on the saloons
