I would say both mine are a garage queen but they get used when the weather is good during winter. I was out for hoon on New Years Day early doors.

Mine's an "occasional". It comes out of the garage for the weekly shop, and it might go once a week to work. Other than that, I save it up for the bi-monthly blast to the in-laws' (400 mile trip) and the yearly autobahn-storm back to the UK - 1000 miles each way.

parts only won't count and projects aren't being used and some may never be finished .
i can't edit the poll now so we'll just stick to cars in use
and the poster can say why they chose which vote .

I don't really see the point of owning a car if you are not going to use it for what it was intended for...?
I do however understand that some people will love and cherish their's and only drive them on sunny days.

Mine is currently a daily driver. Well, in theory we use the E39 for family trips and I ride my motorbike to work and the E30 is garage queen... But the reality is that it's often too cold or hot to use the motorbike, or I have to carry stuff and I end up taking the E30 to work. Also my wife stuffed the E39 into the back of a Passat a week ago, so that's in the body shop so the E30 is on full family duty.
All that will change soon though as we will be going to live in Asia and the E30 will become a long term garage queen....
These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

Well mine was a daily driver when I bought it, but it's now been off the road since October, and when it comes back out it's just going to be a weekend/show car. All this is dependent on how long it takes me to finish the light resto

Got a cab. No point in driving it without the roof down, so garaged over winter. During summer, it only comes out on dry days.

My 2.7 e30 used to be my daily and was for 3 years! Loved every minute of it, good or bad
My current 325i sport is now driven on sunny dry days as my 2.7 was written off, this has made my sport even more of a queen

There isn't an option for mine Mick, but it served as the daily family wagon for ten years and carried us for over 100,000 care free and pretty much trouble free miles.
Is currently resting (and has been for nearly two years) in one of my poly tunnels awaiting some summer attention.......

Daily currently but not by choice. I use train and push bike to get to work and have used my E30 on average 3 times a week all year round. But my girlfriend has been using it daily to get to work over the last four months.. not quite what I had planned as it happened when I took my M42 off the road and got an M20. Hope soon to get something more economical for her to drive. Was looking into an E46 320d but after looking through some threads on here about fixing turbo costs.. I may have to think again.

My touring is in daily use, covered 13.5k miles last year.
Cabbie is summer only, currently the MoT has expired and I have no urge to re-test until the bloody weather warms up!

Mine is currently buried under a load of junk in the garage awaiting its tax disc on the 1st April.
However after the recent snow the roads are absolutely full of salt so I'll be waiting until we're had a few days of rain to wash it away before I drive it
