Im looking at getting some bbs rs's in the 16" 5x120 variety, and have a couple of questions:
What would be the ideal tyres to run (assume staggered 8j and 9j)
if they were on an e30 m3, what would be the ideal offset if I was to run 18mm adaptors, and would I need any arch mods.
my car is a e30 convertible, and I don't want to do a suspension conversion unless I can get one really cheap.
TIA
Q
(sorry for the repost - but i need advice before i bid on them)

too late - looks like I won the bidding!
quick question - the fronts are et20, and rears are et24 - with 18mm spacers, which tyres are recommended for this setup?

links can be sent later - theres still a chance they aren't as good as they look in the photos - don't want to get everyone too excited just yet ;)
I need to know the answers to the above before I get them - don't want to be stuck with wheels that aren't suitable - lol

You're going to have to try them on and see how much room you've got.
You'll need a bit of stretch and a decent session with an arch roller I think.
They would have come with 225 45 on the front and something like a 245 40 on the back when on an m3, but they'll be far too chunky on an e30, especially spaced out 18mm.
I'm not sure what's available in 16s but if they exist, something like a 195 50 or 205 45 front and 215 40 rear. Should leave a reasonable bit of sidewall to help fill the arches height wise without having to have the car constantly scraping the floor.
