Oil light on check computer is on and not much engine oil in.
What should I check to establish where the oil leak is coming from.

Intense jerk when driven past 3000 rpm, Cambelt is now due to be changed as it has Been 5 years could this be related to the jerk.

Any ideas

Jack it up, remove the front spalsh guard, get in there with a decent torch.

Might be worth cleaning up the usual things

Crank sensor
TPS
TB
AFM
intake flexi pipe
ICV

can't do any harm.

Under what conditions does the car jerk?

Hot or cold? Full throttle, part throttle, coming off the throttle?

Could be over-fueling, maybe due to a temp sensor. Someone will give you a better answer.
