hi folks i need a bit of help. finally got my 89 320i running but it was not firing on number 2 and 6. fitted new plugs and checked spark at all cylinders, which were good and strong. so i am presuming i have no fuel at the cylinder. i have just been reading the section about cleaning the injectors, and i would like to know if the injectors can stop working all together. if so might be quicker to get a couple of injectors and save the time of cleaning them. by the way the car had been sitting for 12 years and had not been started so they may be well gummed up. cheers scott.

Under the inlet manifold and mounted to a metal bracket you will find a multiplug(C191)Check this carefully for water ingress and corroision. This is where the injector/temp sensor loom joins the main engine loom.

swap the injectors to other cylinders to see if the problem follows to that cylinder
