Whats peoples views on this, got two rear arches that have a lot of rust, rather than patching with isopon, I want to do it properly and get it welded. Whats folks previous experience on this ? handy done, any threads on step by step instructions ?

I'd be looking at the rest of the car first before starting anything, there will be rust in other places too, just how much you will have to find out, then see if its worth the trouble.

lol penton08, mines isnt quite as extreme as that however the previous owner has fibreglassed it temporarily, and its starting to fall through again. Is it cheaper to patch something like this or can u buy the inner arches?.. any pics of your arches now once patched ?

I'm interested too. Full inspection is obviously the sensible and painful way.
