Right, as a few of you will have noticed my lowly 316i is up for sale.

Im in two minds whether to sell it or keep it at the moment, but if i keep it, im hoping to make her go faster  This will probably mean ditching my M40 and replacing it with something a bit... mental-er.

So...

What conversions are possible, whats the benefit of one over another (i.e. turbo'd 1.6 or standard 2.5 etc etc...) and how much do they cost in general from start to finish, probably paying someone to do it.

Even made a form for you to fill in

Conversion:
Cost of engine/running gear required:
Cost of labour:
Benefit of this over another conversion:
Other factors to consider:

Any help much appreciated, cheers

dude the possibilites are endless! but if you paysome to do it it aint guna be cheap!!!

an m42 conversion would be a nice step up; considering youv hav a 316 for a while jumping striaght to a 2.5 mite b a big step

the problem is fella its probably cheaper to buy a 325i than convert your current 316 to one
