I need to take my injectors out for some cleaning just to get the car running it has been stood ten years and i am trying to get it to start so far i have replaced the full fuel system, have got good sparks but must be having injection problems as it will still not run ,anyway being quite lazy i would like to get them out without having to get the inlet manifold off is this possible and how are they held in I can see the clip that holds it onto the fuel line but that about where it actually goes into the engine side are they just pushed in there ?
Thanks

The electric's rail has those 'push to fit',swear a lot to remove spring clips.Use a small flat blade screwdriver to tease them out, taking great care not to let them fly off to the darkest corner of your garage.
As you say,the fuel rail connector is a spring clip, plus some 10mm bolts to the inlet manifold, then the fuel rail should lift off...you may need to remove the connector to the blue and brown temp sensor to thread the rail out,and will certainly need to split the C191 connector to lift the electrics rail clear.
Injectors mount via rubber O rings both to the rail and to the head,Injectortune will supply new one's with your cleaned injectors, bit of Fairy or similar will help them slide home.
Any injectors that are playful can be encouraged out of either the inlet or the rail by gripping them on the metal part with a pair of waterpump pliers.
Youth is wasted on the young.
