Anyone done it? I've got some minor rust bubbles under and around the badges. The previous council replaced the blue and whites with Alpina's for some unknown reason and I have always meant to replace them. But I did think about just pulling the alpies off, treating the area, filling, smoothing, sanding, undercoating and painting over to make one smooth and sexy surface.

We all know what the cars are, do we need a badge?

I'm trotting over the bridge, so please, bring out the trolls . . . Hehe.

de-badgeing is a bit council and been done to death!!

I had to replace my badge's, previous owner had some B1tching carbon fiber effect ones :bling:

If you do replace the badges... don't get them off ebay. They are titled "genuine" but they are not.

I compared bmw supplied badges with ebay ones. Massive difference even tho the ebay ones have a product number and bmw stamp

I once seen one of these parking wars programs on telly once and the daft bird couldn't write a ticket for the car because the owner had took the badge off it was clearly an e30 but she didnt know what make or model it was and im sure she could have still done it but it was a long time ago and this is a completely irrelevant and useless story so i will stop it here.

put oem badges back on it would look wrong without them mine had some worse than carbon ones on ,the previous owner had put little black sticky triangles over the blue bits

Seems like De-bagging, Tea-bagging and de-badging all attract the same level of derision . . . . I shall take all comments on board and continue to do exactly what I want to do . . . Hehe.

Cheers fella's.
