I've set on removing my power steering. The cheapskate way, not replacing the rack.
What are the benefits of getting a system to loop between the in and out port of the rack, rather than just sticking a plug in each hole?
I've been doing plenty of reading up on it, and its coming out almost dead on 50/50 - some say you need to leave some fluid in to circulate around, others say the lubricant and grease you seal in when assembling the rack is enough, and you should just stick a bolt in the holes!
Opinions would be much appreciated, especially from a track point of view.

Plugs. This guy has proven these work, having sold a fair few to racers in the US.

Breathable delete block. Also proven, guy still leaves residual fluid in rack though as lubricant, which I don't think is a good idea/necessary?

There must be some people out there that have done this to their e36/z3 racks etc too, which would be interesting to hear about. I'm very intruiged.
