Well, the E30 came out of the factory on 06/01/1988 so it's nearly 25 years all bar a couple of weeks. The advisory? "Deterioration of the front nearside obligatory mirror, but not seriously affecting rear view".
Pity, I rather like the antique look.

Yep, it was a bit of a relief as well and for an hour or so I was chewing my nails. Not been in the best of health this year and have been unable to keep up with the same level of preventative maintenance as before. Must try and do better next year.
