Hartge wheels;Sell or Restore?

Right then what to do?

The Hartge wheels on my car are starting to look a bit shabby.
When i first got them they were all scuffed and scratched around the edges,so i cleaned them of with a flap wheel on a grinder and primed and painted just the edges!
Looked ok ,and probably still do,but they are starting to head back the same way.
Dont get me wrong they are not f*cked,just a couple of them are a bit kerbed again(misses )and to me(not her)they look shite!

So heres what im thinking!

Do i save up some money after xmas and have them powder coated close to the original colour(had this done on my RS1600i a couple of years ago and looked awesome)and buy some new tyres(two of mine getting very low)or-
Do i get rid of them now before they end up even worse and get a set of nice BBS`s and save myself shite loads of money.
Ah decisions,decisions

I would say get them refurbed
but if you do decide to sell them

I really like these wheels, just bought a set and am waiting to get them in december. I would have prefered a set of bbs split rims but they are serious money. I rekon a refurb is going to cost you some serious cash, sell these and get some fresh split rims.

get them refurbed mate, it will definately be worth it in the long run they aint as common as 15" bbs's just makes the car stand out a bit more.

No offence to the bbs peeps! I've got 14's and 15's for mine so ya cant crucify me yet!

if they ara 16's itll only cost about Ԛ£150 to have them refurbed. i'd go for that.

Still not sure what to do.

Last time i had a set of RS wheels done it cost Ԛ£50 per rim,which i dont suppose is bad,but then the cost of a decent tyres at about Ԛ£60 each,thats quite a bill,and to be honest im not sure i can justifie that much to my misses!

Plus the fact that i really like BBS`s and lets face it,if they havent been well looked after now,then i will be devastated for them to be kerbed again Ԛ£500 down the line

Oh well ill think on......
