does any one do any meets down this way ? as i would like to come to some

Not many happen down this way, usually at shows, the sherborne classic car show was the last I think. Usually meets this end of the country are more over towards Poole/Bournemouth as its more central so its easier for more people to get to.

I was thinking about organising a run/meet for our summer just gone (what there was). Was thinking a couple hour drive out over Exmoor and heading back to somewhere like Wimbleball reservoir, park up and light some BBQs... But I ran out of time and anything that resembled a summer!
Is definitely a plan for next year though.

There are swbmw meets not strictly done by the e30 zone, but actually organised by some of the guys off e36coupe. Normally about once a month!

Will keep an eye out for the next one, seen a few nice e30s around Bournemouth since I moved back down, will be looking to get another one in the new year and desperate to meet some fellow e30 lovers in the area!

Used to do South West meets about 6 or 7 years ago. Occasionally around Random Dave's place, or around Torquay and head over the respective moors. Would buddy up with the e36 lads too. Used to be a giggle, if organised very badly by some inept fuckwits. Dartmoor was fucking awesome though. 20+ cars hooning over Dartmoor on a Sunday morning, shattering the peace for the ramblers out for a walk.

You lot would start thinking of Devon meets just as I move away. Tossers.

If the car is running and I'm free when the meets are on, I'll probably come along, only in Bristol and would be good to meet fellow zoners.
