Ive got a BMW 318is 1990..... The front suspension seems really low?? Maybe the front springs need replacing?? Does anyone know if 325i sport front suspension fits the IS??? Or any other ideas that can help me will be much appreciated... Cheers

It has more than likley been "improved" by a previous owner. Best thing to do would be get a set of standard 318is springs, or a set of lowering springs from a reputible manufacturer, Eibach, or H&R etc, stay at about a 40mm drop and the car will remain reasonably comforable too.

The 325i springs are not really suitable as they are designed to hold the extra weight of the m20 engine, rather than the lighter m42.

The shocks are the same, but the springs will be different. Both cars left the factory with 51mm Strut legs, but 4 & 6 cylinder springs are different.
