Hello
Got a fairly big problem with my suspension the bottom cup on the front left Shock the bit that holds the bottom of the spring has cracked and so the cup is pushing down on to my tyre and worn a big groove into it.
Will 325 suspension fit as my mate has a shock I can have
318 suspension

If your 318i is a saloon, then you will need to fit both 325 front struts, as the 325 ones are of a larger diameter. If your car is a saloon or touring, then they are the same.

Did you mean coupe at the beginning? I have a 4 door saloon

No such thing as an E30 coupe - just 2 door and 4 door saloons. My post should read "cabriolet or touring" - fingers not typing what the brain is thinking!
Your car will have a small diameter strut, so you should only fit the larger ones as a pair.
