hi guys, new on here and just trying to get my head round a few things, so bear with me.
ive just bought a completely standard 1990 318i, i am going to use it mainly as something for fun at the weekends (only a 318i as its all that the insurance will allow!) and im looking to fit some H&R race lowering springs and some bilstein b8 shock absorbers. i believe that my car only has the 45mm struts, so is it worth upgrading to the 51mm struts and what would i have to do to do this?
also there are loads of b8 e30 shock absorbers on larkspeed so which ones would i want to buy?

i hope someone can help me as i have no idea which shock absorbers will fit or if i should upgrade my strut size,
