Evening folks.

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

right, i've been looking for a new drivers side wingafter the wind blew the gate into yesterday & left it with a nice dent

now i've been offered a brand new (genuine bmw part) front wing still wrapped up, but it's for a pre facelift model & it doesnt have the hole for the indicator,

& what i'd like to know is there any major difference between a pre & post facelift wing? (aside from one has the indicator hole & one doesnt)

I can soon cut the hole to size if I can use the wing.

as for the price well lets just say i'm close to taking his hand off lol.

so, can I use it? Yes or no??
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Cabs are the only different wings IIRC, as for the indicator hole only the VERY early car had side repeater delete and it was in 1983 this changed as far as I know

Ceck it is defo genuine as genuine wings are NLA now I believe
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Euro spec cars also had the 'wing repeater delete'.....

The wing you have been offered should fit up fine.

BMW will supply an 'approved' new wing, but the fit is not as good as it should be.
