Yep, the heater mat probably has a break in the circuit. The thing is, you sit and move around on it everday, and even though theyre designed to flex to an extent, they will eventually break

Datourer, as James said, probably break in the element, send an e-mail to these people..
http://www.waeco.de/de/home/index.php
They sell a complete heated seat install kit, wiring, elements and switches, all for Ԛ£40, you will only need the kit for the elements, worth it at that price, and tap into the original wiring as to keep it original.
You'll also have a spare elements then!

Hi Simon .... this is a must for me this coming winter. Do you know which link on that site I should be looking at or is it a case of writing to them and asking what works ??
And is it a big job to install it all ??
Thanks

It used to show the kit on their website, but it has since been removed, you will have to get in touch with them, the kit ref was MSH-50 Heated Seat Install Kit.GDBN wrote:Hi Simon .... this is a must for me this coming winter. To fit, you will have to remove the material from the seats, fiddly, but more than possible.
