Hi there.
Does anyone know how easy/difficult fitting a new hood skin is on an 1989 325i cab?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

i tried and give up the car sat in the garage for 4 years ...it only got pushed outside for my new 2door e30 to go in , it is actually quite easy to do you need the glue and stuff but just watch how you take it off and thats how it goes back on BUT there is a trim bit that goes on the very front of the roof on mine the screws into there the heads had rusted and they would not come out i tried drilling them got bored and give up ,so if them screws are ok its an easy job

Leave it to the experts unless you are fitting a new roof with a frame on it.

Cost me a couple of bangs to get someone who knows what to do to fit it. If you've already got the roof, don't ruin it with a bodge job. You need all the cuts, the glueing and the front strip to be spot on.
