Exhaust Manifolds (325i)

Anyone know what the standard exhaust manifolds on a 1990 325i engine were like? were they tubular ( a pair of 3 into 1's) or the normal cast iron crappy ones!? any pictures anywhere? also were the throttle bodies on a 325 any different to the ones on a 320? ive been told fitting 325 throttle bodies to a 320 makes a big difference to performance.... not sure whether i believe it!
