Mmmmmm they look beefy
are you sure they are for rain
and not for scraping dead pigeons
and other small flying animals from the windscreen

I know need to get rid of this 4pot 318is slowness and buy myself a proper engine, something like whats in your M3!
They really dont look that bad when you see them in the flesh, it was something i have been wanting to do for a while now, and since its winter time to get new wipers!

Like the look of those areo wipers!
Must have taken a bit of work as most new cars wiper pivets are much closer to each other.
Do they wipe all the screen??!!? or do you have large unwiped areas.....

They wipe just the same area as the stock wipers,
The best bit is they sit below the bonnet air stream and thus any water thats left on the wipers doesnt run off on the screen making you wipe just a few more times to get rid of all the screen wash thats left on the frames of the stock wipers, im hopping they will also reduce noise and drag, as i have problems with the passenger wiper lifting at hight speeds.

They are the same length as the stock wipers and so yes if the stock ones miss the tax disc then so do these.

They aren't the cheapest wipers you can get!
Interesting idea though, so well done for being different.

The new Vauxhall Astra, i bought two new arms. The blades from the same car are the correct lenght for the E30.
Then took the ends off and mated them to the E30 arms.

Andrew i would have thought fitting heavy duty wipers to the inside of the screen would be more of a priority if you are going to have that 16 year old temptress Kitty on board !

They certainly are function over form, but I think I'll grow to like them.
Might be one for the Civic!
Simon, Andy manages reasonable speeds, despite being handicapped by a 'normal' four pot.
No probs on getting the bits mate.

at Andy's 4 pot wrongness!
Sorry Dave, not sure how much you get these for, but I have a friend who works for Bosch, and get's a pair of wiper blades for like Ԛ£4 where Halfrauds charge about Ԛ£20, maybe I could get these at a godo price, I shall make some enquiries...

If you could Simon that would be cool.
Maybe he'd be able to get the fixings too?
The total came to just under Ԛ£40, but that was a 'one-off' staff rate, for complete Astra H (2004>) wiper arms and blades.
Should have been nearer Ԛ£70 really.
Nice one.
If they are much better at clearing water/not smearing then it could be worthwhile.
