I want to fit a new rubber seal to my touring's tailgate as the current one has shrunk significantly over the months, as usual. Is there any way of pre-shrinking it before fitting, low heat in the oven maybe?
edit - out of interest, do touring owners leave the ends of the rubber seal straight or do you cut them to mate neatly with the vertical strips?
