Not sure if "interchangability" is actually a word, and not sure if the lowering springs i kept off my old 2 door 320 will be right for my current 4 door 325. Are all 6 pot springs swappable?

Six pot front springs should be interchangeable between all body styles. IIRC, rear springs differ for Tourings, Cabriolets and Saloons, but considering you're only going from 2- to 4-doors, you shouldn't have any problem.
