Do you prefer your E30's exterior to be modded or standard?

I have to say I think the E30 looks mint factory standard. I really think that when people put outrageous bodykits onto their cars it doesnt half spoil the character of the car!
My Sport is standard exterior wise apart from clear front and side repeaters and looks the nuts as it is! I do think however that a set of 17's and a slight drop in suspension can further enhance the appearance of the car!!
Just dont see the point in silly spoiler, kits etc!!!
Suppose its each to their own however!

Looks mint on bbs wheels as well!

i do like the overall look of the standard car, but it doest hurt to ad some slight ext mods, makes your car look different from the rest and it all comes do to personal taste. There are some really cool ext modded cars on the zone, and everytime i look at these machines its gets me thinking about what i can do with my car.

I am with Hyperion there, I like the standard look of the E30's with a few bits and bobs here and there, to iron it out to personal taste. That is exactly what I am doing on mine !

i think the way forward is subtle styling not to max power. I tend to like the tech 2 kit mainly and a nice set of either bbs or alpinas these tend to catch my eye the most as they look clean and factory.
The e30 is super cool and more than worthy of respect, it dosen't need to be molsterd to make it in the eyes of boy racers.

I think the best look is the Mtec mk1 sport look with 15" x spokes, understated and cool.

100% Standard in every detail, thats me through and through. My preference is a late 2 door IS/SE with Cross spokes. Absolutely cooler than a cool mans cool bits.

some tasteful mods can improve them visually, i dont think even the most blinkered person can agree that bmw got it 100% right in every area .but i dont like the exteme kits that you see and the jap type stuff just doesnt fit with the old e30 shape. but then some people are of the opinion that i shouldnt have fitted a cosworth engine to my e30, so its each to their own i guess

I prefer original with a touch of personalisation and anyway, cant afford the insurance for all that mesh and kits stuff with wild exhausts and lights-a-kimbo!

At the end of the day, if we all had the same taste the World would be one boring place full of clones. I hate the standard look of the E30 and that point is proven when i go into the photo section cause i only look at the cars that have been modded in some way. We all work hard for our money, so it's up to us to spend it how we want. I have seen plenty of modded E30's that i thought were terrible too, but like i said, it aint my money so none of my damn business.
Ho and not everyone who mods a E30 to the extreme is a chav living on some dodgy Council Estate

I think the car that stevetigger posted looks pretty cool for a track car, i think that would be a bit extreme for a everyday road caar.

I think that Mtech 2 cars look soo nice and they should be left alone but the standard models could benifit from a little face lift, like a reiger kit, nothing too over the top, just bumpers and maybe skirts.
